Our teams of Staffbooker representatives have been visiting many venues across the UK in recent months and we would like to thank all of you who took time to speak with them. A special thanks to those who took part in our survey.

The general consensus, as a result of the survey, shows that many staff members believe they’re working within an industry that is constantly testing the boundaries. We at Staffbooker believe we have a good formula to help both the staff and booker.

The concept behind staffbooker.com was realised in December of 2001.

A number of months later, in April 2002, we formed a company called key2promotions Ltd and began our lengthy research by talking to both staff and bookers.

We were always aware that by discussing our new venture someone could attempt to copy the idea, so we kept our unique features under wraps, saying only that we were creating an online booking system and web community for promotional staff.

Within six months of forming our company a number of websites did appear and as we anticipated they were little more than a community for promotional staff, offering mainly credit card sale opportunities.

The excellent standards of pay began to fall as vast amounts of people were being introduced to the industry in exchange for website membership fees.

Contrary to popular belief, not everyone can be a good promotional staff member.

Staffbooker is much more than a web community. Our development team have literally waited for technology to catch up which has enabled our unique concepts to become a reality.

Our two way text messaging, we believe, is a first of its kind in the world while the Industry CV is a first of its kind within the industry. Others may soon follow but we’ll set the pace.
